Kiwi as the key ingredient of every course: this is the menu that the students of the Borgo d’Ale (Vercelli) school had the chance to taste on March 22. The project “Il gusto per la salute” (Tasty and healthy), run by the Municipality of Borgo D’Ale in collaboration with the catering service company Markas and LILT (Italian League Against Cancer), aims at promoting among children the habit of eating food that is both tasty and healthy. Indeed, eating vitamin C and fiber-rich fruit such as kiwi might have a beneficial effect on a number of conditions. The project continues with two meetings on nutritional education with Markas nutritional expert Anna Frumento.
The monthly magazine “La Grinta” reports about this in its edition of April 1, 2017.
