As part of the project „Eat Ability“, four persons with disabilities made a very special experience: after having attended a training course for canteen employees offered by the service provider Markas, in the future on every Thursday – beginning with May – they will contribute to serving lunch to the pupils of the primary school “Anne Frank” in Lurate Uggiate Trevano (CO). The awareness project was started by the local Social Services Consortium in collaboration with the school, the municipality, a non-profit organization and the school canteen service provider Markas in order to support the young people on their path to independence. On May 26, Markas handed over the certificate of attendance for the course, promoting the four to official employees of the canteen. Margareth Utizi, responsible for marketing at Markas, was very happy about the big success of the project: “The participants attended the training course with much enthusiasm and motivation!”

The newspaper “Giornale di Olgiate” reports about this in its edition of May 28, 2016.
